Printer

A printer is a piece of hardware that allows you too printer images or text files from your computer. Printers come in different types such as an ink-jet. These printers use cartridges that contain the ink. You can print images and text files by clicking into a file and choosing to print the file. Printers come in other types such as dot-matrix or a laser printer. Usually printers are used to output A4 pages.
 




 
 

Monitor


A monitor is the most commonly used output device. Monitors come in many different shapes, sizes and forms. The picture on the monitor is made up of pixels. The quality and detail of the picture depends on the number of pixels that the monitor can display. The higher the number of pixels, the better quality they output.


 

 




Speakers


Most computers are fitted with small internal speakers which can produce sounds that alert you to any error. A sound card can be fitted into a computer and external speakers can be plugged into the audio ports of a computer and then take priority over the internal speakers. These usually produce a much higher quality sound than the internal speaker.
