Monitor-Custom
The monitor I am recommending you for your
new computer system is the AOC I2757FH, it is a 27 inch widescreen LED monitor.
This screen is large enough, has amazing quality and will not disappoint. I
have recommended this monitor because it is the same monitor I use at home for
my gaming set-up. This monitor comes with built in loudspeakers. If you like
you can buy additional speakers. This monitor weighs 6 Kg so it is heavy but
reasonable of its size. This monitor costs just over £200 but has free
delivery.
DataBase/Spreadsheets
I know you need your new computer to be
able to run databases and spreadsheets, so I have recommended this program for
you. It is Microsoft Office Home and Student, the package comes with a number
of Microsoft Programs including Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. This
Package I have chosen is compatible with Windows 8 and is a very good package,
I know because I use the same package for my own work at home and is very
useful and easy to install. It costs £94.98, if you would like to see more
details I have included a link below.
Internet-Sky/Web browser-Chrome
Obviously you will need the internet for
your home computer system. So I have recommended Sky Broadband, the deal I have
chosen is Sky Fibre Unlimited. It costs £30 a month and you must have a Sky
line Rental which costs £15.40 a month, the first 6 months also come at half
price. With this Broadband Package you can get upload speeds of up to 19Mb and
comes with a free Sky Wireless Booster to extend your Wi-Fi signal. If you
would like to view this deal in more detail, I have provided a link below.
You will need a browser to use the
internet; your computer will come pre-installed with Google Chrome. This
browser is very fast and completely customizable. This is the internet browser
I use at home for the past few years.
You will need to setup an email account if
you haven’t already. The email account I have recommended is Gmail, the reason
I have recommended this is because I have had a Google Account for a couple of
years and has served me well. Most other websites that you might sign up for
like YouTube needs a Gmail account so it is useful to already have a Gmail
email account, you can access this account from any computer as long as you
have some connection to the internet.
Games
I remember you telling me that you enjoy
playing games, so I have chosen a number of games for you that I have played
myself and I think you will enjoy them.
The first game is a sport game called Fifa 14,
it costs £31.99 and is based around playing football. You can choose between
different teams; Liverpool, Portugal, Man United, Fulum Etc. cups and
championships. Fifa has been given 4 stars people would differ on agreeing
whether the game is good but I believe you will enjoy it as much as I have.
For the third game I have recommended Assassin’s
Creed IV Black Flag, it costs £29.99. This is a game based around the time of
pirates. You can act out all acts of a pirate, pillage towns, fight and sail
the sea. This is a very addictive and entertaining game; it is a long game and
requires time. I play this game at home and love it; the reviews are out
standing and have been given 4 out of 5 stars.
Digital Camera- Cannon
I remember you telling me that you like to
take pictures so I have researched and found a great camera that would suit you
well. It is the Nikon D7100 Digital SLR Camera that comes with an 18-105mm VR
Lens Kit. This camera has a 3.2 inch LCD screen to view pictures you have
already taken. It’s powerful 24.1 megapixel DX-format CMOS sensor guarantees
sharp detailed images. This camera comes with a great number of functions and
features. It has been awarded a full 5 stars and the customer reviews are
outstanding. The camera costs £920.21; I know price isn’t an issue. If you
would like to read more about the Nikon Camera the link below will take you too
it.
Colour Printer-Cannon LaserJet
I know you want to be able to print out the
pictures you have taken with your camera so I have looked for a suitable
printer and I think I have found one. It is the Epson WorkForce WF-3520DWF; it
is a 4-in-1 Printer with double-sided printing. This printer can print, scan,
copy, and fax. With Wi-Fi and Ethernet you can print from any room in the house
and be able to print up to 15 pages per minute and it costs £97.82. I have this
exact same printer in my office and work amazingly for me. The Epson have
received 4 stars and the customer reviews are great. Click the link below if
you would like to view the printer I have provided a link below.
External Harddrive
I understand you are going to need an
External Hard drive to transfer large video files. I think that 500GB should be
more than enough for you so I have went online and looked for a 50GB external
hard drive that you can use. It is the Samsung M3; it is a black slimline
portable hard drive. This hard drive has USB 3.0 meaning it will transfer files
too and from a computer faster, this is the hard drive I used before I got a
larger storage device. This hard drive costs £37.99 and has earned 4.4 out of 5
stars and the customer reviews are very positive, a lot of people enjoyed the
use of this hard drive as much as I did and hope that you enjoy it the same. I
have provided you with a link below if would like to view the product in
further detail.
