Memory

Memory allows you to store your files and work onto a hard disk or a harddrive. Memory comes in two different terms and they are RAM and ROM. Where RAM is Random Access Memory, or temporary memory, this means that memory is stored on RAM temporarly until you save it to your computer. RAM cards usually come in cards 1-4gb today. ROM is Read Only Memory that retains its data even without power, so even when the computer is off your memory is still safe.

Processor

A processor is Microchip that is put into a CPU's harddrive that processes instructions sent to it by the computer and software programs. Processors come in a number of sizes and they are made by compannies such as Intel or Advanced Micro Devices. The bigger the gigahertz (GHz) capacity of the processor, the quicker the computer will be able to process instructions and requests sent to it. Some compannies have developed a dual processor, which allows one processor to process multiple instructions at the same time without slowing down performance of your computer, this means that you can request more operations at once.
